My Story

Ever since I could remember, I always had an issue with my body. I wasn't the cute little kid that all of my friends were. In fact I was the opposite. Short, pudgy, and stocky for most of my childhood. Fast forward to sophmore year of high school, I eventually developed and eating disorder (anorexia) that took a few years to recover from, and even then, I would occasionally have a relapse into some old nasty habits. 

It wasnt until I was 24 and waking up from sugery that I finally decided to take control of my life and body, but in the right way. After my 2 weeks of recovery, I started my own fitness journey and I've stuck with it ever since. Through this time as well, I went through a lot of personal trauma and loss, but I think one of the things that helped me get through that was the determination and discipline that fitness had taught me.

I wouldnt be where I am today had it not been for a pair of dumbells and an idea.

I went from being 165lbs at 5ft to 115lbs in just under a year through nothing but lifting weights, keeping an eye on my protein intake, and walking. 

Now, I look to inspire others to do the same. No matter where you are in life, body type, etc, it is my belief that fitness is for everyone.
